Trenches and defense walls

On the La Thuile territory, both towards the Little St. Bernard Pass and the Colle San Carlo, there are several routes that allow you to see the evidence of what happened during the World Wars. From Colle della Croce, on the La Thuile side, you can see the dry stone defense walls of Captain Sandino, with a military trench and the ruins of two little barracks for the garrison. In the Mont du Parc area, near the Les Granges and Buic fractions, there are the trenches of Prince Thomas. At the Little St. Bernard Pass you can see the defense walls that were built during the 3rd decade of the XX century.
