Swimming Pools and Spa
On one of those rare winter days when skiing simply isn’t possible, remember that in La Thuile there’s always the swimming pool option — strictly indoors, and with all the expected perks: whirlpool pools, sauna, and steam room worthy of the finest spas.
The same applies in summer for those who want to swim even after tackling one of the Infinity trekking routes or a mountain bike excursion. In this case, however, we wholeheartedly recommend the high-altitude pool at Les Suches, near Punto G: an outdoor, heated pool with a stunning view of the Rutor Glacier — a completely different experience, and one full of charm.
As for the indoor pools in La Thuile, we recommend:
The pool at TH La Thuile – Planibel Hotel & Residence, located inside the Planibel complex and open to both hotel guests and external visitors. It features two pools: a sloped pool ideal for adults and a shallow pool dedicated to children.
The Montana Lodge Wellness Centre pool, located inside the Hotel Montana Lodge and also open to both guests and non-guests. A special feature of this pool is its beautiful mountain view, with the option to enjoy a whirlpool.
The Re delle Alpi indoor pool, with a spa open daily from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, equipped with a panoramic Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, steam bath, relaxation alcove, neck waterfall, whirlpool, Kneipp path, and ice waterfall.
The pool at Hotel Miramonti, located within the wellness centre, which also includes a steam bath and sauna.
