La Thuile Ski School
Experience and passion at your service

The La Thuile ski school, which in January 2014 celebrated its 50th birthday, has one branch in the town, just in front of the cable car station, and one further up the slopes at Les Suches (2,200 m). There are more than 80 expert instructors on our team, all registered with the ski instructors guild. World-class athletes past and present, specialised Federal trainers, and inspiring instructors are all on hand to train a new generation of experts in the winter sports. The La Thuile Ski School offers individual and group lessons in Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, Telemark, freeride, carving and snow blading, and we also provide guides to accompany the most adventurous skiers on off-piste runs.A focus on safety, the latest teaching techniques and client engagement are our watchwords, and our instructors’ are dedicated to improving the performance and technique of each individual student, whatever their starting level. You will not fail to be inspired by their passion for winter sports and love for the mountains. Our instructors speak both Italian and French, and many also English and/or Spanish—La Thuile is a destination of choice for skiers of many nationalities—English, German, Russian, Spanish, and of course, our French cousins who arrive directly from the other side of the ski park

Tre9: ski club for kids
Skiing lessons are fun with Tre9, a club for kids who already practice the sport that are based in La Thuile throughout the winter season. Tre9 is an annual non-competitive skiing course lasting approximately 150 hours. Expert ski and snowboard instructors hold lessons every weekend, as well as intensive training courses during the Christmas holidays and Carnival period, and club trips. Tre9 also instructs kids in signs, symbols and first-aid, and holds gate-training sessions and lessons featuring video analysis. The season culminates in Tre9 members getting the opportunity to compete against kids from other local ski clubs. Please note that Tre9 is not open to beginners, the minimum level required to join is the ability to perform a controlled Snowplough.
