Find your rhythm and experience the beauty of the mountain with this ancient form of getting across the snow. Immerse yourself in mysterious forests, float across the powder, and discover charming little villages and unexplored terrain—an emotion with every step. Several itineraries of varying degrees of difficulty and lengths start from La Thuile and the small fractions of Pétosan, Les Granges, La Joux, Buic and Villaret. Get out there for one to 4 hours, explore extraordinary natural panoramas and enjoy the unspoilt landscape. Do not miss out on the route following the footsteps of the long-ago miners—it takes you directly to the head of the shafts and the picturesque old mining village.
