The wonderful world of climbing
La Thuile’s Up and Down Boulder Point is a new indoor boulder gym for beginners and experts alike. Located in the Arly area, inside the La Piramide municipal sports complex, the gym features climbing equipment with 40 blocks and 15 routes of varying levels of difficulty, from easy to expert. Just choose the colour that best suits your ability (grey, white, blue, yellow or red) and up you go! All equipment is made of the latest generation materials with safety in mind. Going up, going down, turning back, trying again—however you reach your target, you’ll get a buzz that only the wall, a pair of climbing shoes and a bag of magnesite can provide. Up and Down offers experienced climbers the chance to pit their wits against the wall, and also organises courses for adult and child beginners, held by a mountaineering guide and climbing expert.
